This two-day symposium will bring together internationally renowned experts from a diversity of disciplines capable of integrating traditional comparative anatomy, systematics and palaeontology, with modern molecular biology, developmental genetics and molecular phylogenetics in order to address many of the major unsolved questions of animal evolution. The meeting forms part of the celebration of the 300th birthday of Linnaeus.
