How can the current generation of young architects address the challenges of climate change and the wider sustainability agenda? Speakers include, Charles Secrett (London Development Agency and former Director, Friends of the Earth), leading German architect Stefan Behnisch, Professor Anne Power (London School of Economics), Pooran Desai (Director, Bioregional) and Peter Gingold (Director, Cape Farewell)
The welcome and key note address will be followed by four parallel discussion groups: Sustainability in Cities, Sustainability in Innovation, Sustainability in Practice and Communicating Sustainability.
Following the day’s programme there will be an evening reception at the German Embassy.
Organised in partnership and with generous support by the German Embassy during Germany’s EU presidency, the event is particularly intended for young architects from across Europe, working in the UK.
