Description
Flood, pollution, dust, humidity, pests… is climate change a reality or a figment of scientists’ imagination? What are the facts? Is the world’s heritage doomed? Are there any solutions?
To celebrate the opening of the Centre for Conservation and the International Dunhuang Project’s Conservation Conference, Sarah Staniforth, Historic Properties Director of the National Trust, will discuss these and other issues relating to the preservation of the world’s heritage.
Sarah Staniforth is former Head Conservator at the National Trust and, for many years, has served on the council of IIC (the International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works). She has written and lectured extensively on preventative conservation
