Description
This seminar is part of the “Histories of the Global Eradication of Smallpox” Themed Lecture Series and organised by Dr Sanjoy Bhattacharya.
Senior managerial and field personnel involved in the smallpox eradication programme of the 1970s will present their own views of that historic campaign. By show-casing the participants’ perspective, this series will offer original insights into one of the greatest public health achievements of the twentieth century as it unfolded across the globe.
