Description
Now in its tenth year, the BDA’s highly successful “Setting up in practice” seminar is designed to appeal to dentists considering setting out on their own for the first time, whether buying into an existing practice or establishing their own practice from scratch. The seminar takes you through many of the questions you will need answered – from the philosophical “Is this right for me?” to some of the practical and technical issues.
Other speakers are: Anne Bender (Good Practice Scheme Manager, Professional Advisory Services, BDA), George Manolescue (Managing Partner, Dental Business Solutions) and Gareth McAleer (GDP, Oxfordshire).
- Registration required:
- Yes
- Free:

Additional information
The seminar costs: £170 for BDA members, £150 for DCPs and non-dentist spouses or £210 for non-members. The fee includes refreshments, a buffet lunch and all course documentation. Accreditation: The seminar meets the educational criteria set by the GDC for verifiable CPD (6 hours and 15 minutes) and is certified by the British Dental Association.
