Description

Sustainable London
Main Gallery & Launch Pad Gallery
Friday 9 March – Saturday 28 April

The Sustainable London exhibition presents the challenge, the response and progress towards a sustainable 21st Century city.

The exhibition features over 60 different schemes from private houses to masterplans and shows how local government, architects and engineers are employing technology to reduce environmental impact and address climate change.

The adjacent Launchpad Gallery displays examples of environmentally friendly technology by some of the leading brands in the field.

Both exhibitions are free to attend. The exhibition runs from 9th March to 28th April 2007. It is produced by The Building Centre Trust in association with New London Architecture and sponsored by Buro Happold and English Partnerships.

The Launchpad Gallery is running the new technologies exhibition through March until the end of April. This is in conjunction with the Sustainable London Event and companies are showcasing products with an emphasis on sustainability. The products focus on energy saving, recyclability and timber from well managed forests.

Information on these products may be collected from either information Desks located next to the Launchpad Gallery on the ground floor and in the I zone information area at the lower ground floor level.
