Imagine Science Films invites you to attend a special Sneak-Preview Pre-Festival Screening on Wednesday, SEPT 9 at 8PM.

Concert & Party at the GALAPAGOS ART SPACE, which all also be one of our new venues for the 2nd Annual Imagine Science Film Festival (Oct 15-24).

There will be a Special Screening of ANIMATED MINDS, an animated documentary featuring four outstanding short films. ANIMATED MINDS uses real testimony from survivors of mental illness, combined with engaging and sometimes humorous visuals, to climb inside the minds of the mentally distressed.

We follow with fresh music from TRANSIT, a local NY-based music collective. TRANSIT seeks to reinvigorate the vital discussion between music and humanity by shaking up the way that music flows into social consciousness.

We will begin the event with a presentation of Imagine Science Films and unveil the FILM PROGRAM of the 2009 Festival. This year we received over 250 submissions and approximately 35 films were selected and will be screened over 10-days all around New York City.

Tickets are $10. Proceeds will be used to support the upcoming Imagine Science Film Festival.
