Pub meetup: 25 March 2009

Update: the date for this is now fixed. 25 March, upstairs at the Lamb, Lamb’s Conduit Street, from 6.30. All welcome.
Another scientists-in-the-pub meetup is waaaaay overdue. Let’s get a date fixed. How would a Wednesday in late March suit people? Say, 18th or 25th?
And should we book the upstairs room at the Lamb again, for old times sake, or boldly drink where no scientist has drunk before?

18th or 25th both work for me, sounds like a grand idea.

Sounds good. The Lamb was a good venue, but maybe somewhere different for a change?

I’m an idiot. March 18 is my wedding anniversary!
So, I’ll go for 25th…will try the Lamb first as it ticks all the boxes. -
25th is better for me than the 18th. It isn’t my wedding anniversary on the 18th, but I have a note in my diary that it’s “my turn” for evening duty that night, which means that Malcolm is doing some work-related activity and has booked it first. Many happy returns, by the way, when you reach it! It is also one of my sisters’ birthday, and of course, the day after St Patrick’s Day.

Either works for me.

Sounds great. Just to check, are non-scientists (particularly science communicator’s) welcome as well?

I hope so, or I will be consigned to the outer darkness (zone 6) instead, Mun Keat.

25th sounds good. Where is The Lamb?

25th? March?
Hang on…
I will be jet-lagged out of my skull, but it’s actually possible.
