Hello, I’m Matt the community leader for the London hub of Nature Network.
One of the purposes of the hub is to get local scientists interacting, swapping ideas and making new contacts. So please say hello here and introduce yourself.

Thanks Pamela. I’ll look into doing another drinks night then. We held one last week, which was smaller than usual (around 20 people), but that made it all the more fun as everyone got to speak to everyone else.

That more or less coincides with the World Congress of Science Journalists, being held in London. There could be a lot of bloggers around at that time.

Hello all. I’m Shell. I met many of you at the scientists inna pub night, and much fun it was too. I have a broad science education and have worked in scientific/medical/pharmaceutical publishing for the last 8 years. I’m really just looking for stimulating discussion, fascinating stories and more chances to learn about new things.

Hello, I’m Carmen. I’m also a bit of a charlatan. I started attending Skeptics in the Pub a few months ago as I received a renewed love of science since I left college. I run a blog, in which I talk about vaguely scientific things but my other passion is music.
Currently saving to do a degree in Maths or Physics, depending on who’ll have me…!
The more I forage into the world of science, the more excited I get about it!
Will there be another pub meet soon? I recommend De Hems in Soho :-) -
