Overseas students favour London

Researchers at the University of Lancaster have found a strong correlation between a university’s closeness to London and the number of applications it receives from overseas students. Meanwhile, there is no correlation between overseas applications and the cost of tuition fees (here’s a handy table). Seems everyone wants a piece of London, no matter the cost.
But with the rise in quality educational institutions in places like China and India, the number of overseas students coming to London is predicted to fall, and worsening economic conditions may also have an impact.
More over at the Guardian.
