Description
A Guide to the Real World of Caring for Cultural Objects or Why ‘Restored to its former glory’ is a No-no.
The media may use phrases like ‘Restored to its former glory’ but does such a phrase accurately reflect what is really involved in the preservation and care of antiques and other cultural objects?
This talk will take you some of the ‘ground rules’ involved in genuine conservation as well as helping people find a conservator. You will also find out how you can protect your possessions.
