DESCRIPTION:According to the WHO\, approximately 75% of communicable diseas
 es affecting humans emerging over the past 10 years have been caused by pat
 hogens originating from animals or products of animal origin. This one-day 
 conference on animal health issues will bring together scientists and pract
 ionners with an aim to:

\n• Discuss the public health perspective of zoo
 noses\, including the impact of diseases of animal origin on the NHS and th
 e potential role of the community pharmacist in control strategies.

 vide delegates with an overview of past successes in drug delivery of veter
 inary medicines through specific case studies.
\n• Equip delegates with an 
 understanding of potential future trends in drug delivery of veterinary med
 icines and discuss the impact of the external environment (economic\, socie
