A special day investigating Geology and exploring the Earth with activities for everyone,
celebrating the Geologists’ Association’s 150th Anniversary. Come and join us to find out more about Geology; handle fantastic fossils, marvellous minerals and remarkable rocks.

Try your hand at gem panning, identifying minerals and casting fossils. There will be talks on the
Big Bang, climate change, dinosaurs and global geological hazards from the world’s leading experts, as well as photographic competitions and stalls selling geological equipment, books and specimens. Field trips will be taking place on Sunday 2nd, including UCL’s Mullard Space Science
Laboratory (these must be booked via their website).
