Kinetica presents the work of artist Roger Vilder, who has been commissioned to create 6 pieces for the Wonder Windows at Selfridges London store.

The artwork ‘Organisme Gemetrique / Net Series’, commissioned by Selfridges & Co, follows Vilder’s fascination with the distortion of perspectives through 6 unique pieces which pulsate and undulate through cycles of geometric illusion. His use of geometry reflects the inherent patterns and relationships that can be found in the most basic and complex forms in existence. In particular, the similarities of motion cycles and evolution in seemingly incongruent worlds. As a result, in spite of Vilder’s use of industrial mechanical materials, a sense of organic life emerges from his work when in motion.

Roger Vilder will be showing 2 other new works ‘Geometrical Variation’ and ‘Anamorphose 8’ at Kinetica Museum’s ‘Creatures Great and Small’ group show at Rove, Hoxton Square as part of this year’s Concrete & Glass Festival from October 2nd. The exhibition continues for 2 weeks.
