The event will
• Provide an overview of the social and economic impact of age-related sensory loss.
• Review current understanding of the biological basis of age-related hearing and vision loss.
• Showcase therapeutic approaches being developed for vision and hearing loss, including GSK’s research in this area.
The event is aimed at pharmaceutical and biotech companies, academic researchers and government representatives.
It will provide networking/collaboration opportunities for those interested in research and technologies concerned with sensory impairment.
