The Research Information Network *is holding a free workshop on Sept. 9th, to *_raise awareness of the UK Freedom of Information Act (FOI)_, and how this resource can be used by researchers under the new access regime. The workshop will address how to use the FOI, including rights and responsibilities and how to request information for research projects using the FOI, as well as examining case studies where the FOI has been beneficial to researchers
