This course aims to promote an understanding of the coagulation process as applied for chemically-enhanced clarification of water and wastewater.
Course description
-coagulation science
-coagulation applications
-floc formation and breakage
-flocculator design
-coagulation exercise.
On successful completion of this course the delegate will have:
-An appreciation of nature and scope of chemicals employed for coagulation and flocculation.
-An understanding of the water and interfacial chemistry through which the coagulation process works.
-An indication of the capability and design facets of flocculation as applied to water and wastewater treatment.
-The opportunity to participate in a process design exercise.
