Description

Big Batty Walks start up again in July, the sun is starting to set earlier and the bats are coming out earlier too. London Wetland Centre is one of the best bat sites in London. Our Bat Walks consists of a talk by one of our bat experts before heading out to the wild reserve, complete with bat detectors, to see which species are swooping around the reserve at night.

Dinner and a Big Batty Walk
Late Night Openings are underway, and our Water’s Edge Cafe is holding Sizzling Summer BBQs throughout the season. Double your fun by enjoying a sumptuous BBQ meal then go out on a bat walk. There is a discount for those wishing to take part in both – a combined ticket is just £19.95 (£18.95 for WWT Members). BBQ begins at 5.30pm.

Big Batty Walks times vary with sunset: 17 July – Big Batty Walk starts at 8.45pm, please arrive before this time in order to start on time.
