Description

Anomalous dimensions of high-twist Wilson operators have a non-trivial scaling behavior in the limit when their Lorentz spin grows exponentially with the twist. Conjectured integrability of the dilatation operator in planar N=4 SYM leads to an integral equation for the corresponding scaling function. I will argue that this function coincides at strong coupling with the energy density of the O(6) sigma-model. This result is in a perfect agreement with the string theory predictions and constitutes a nontrivial test of the AdS/CFT correspondence.
