A demonstration of an operation without anaesthetics or antiseptics, in Britain’s only remaining wooden 19th century Operating Theatre.

Come to the Old Operating Theatre Museum this half-term for hands-on activities on surgery, herbal medicines and the power of blood! Children’s trails, including herb grinding and pill-making, are available all day, every day, and bags provided for kids to take their herbal remedies home.
