Description

They may well be the worlds’ most co-operative mammal groups, consisting of a breeding pair and up to 20 or more helpers that feed and defend the pups and keep watch for predators. But the animals’ apparent altruism is combined with a life or death struggle between group members to
gain the breeding position. Join us as we meet Tim Clutton-Brock, the man behind TV’s Meerkat Manor, as he tells us more about these leggy mongooses.
