Description

Featuring an unprecedented triumvirate of Dr Hal’s famous exploding ostrich eggs, amazing DOUBLE-BARRELLED exploding dustbins, the amazing and lifelike 8 foot methane mamba, watch how we produce a molten iron waterfall in front of your very eyes and make a world record attempt for the biggest ever nitrous oxide Barking Dog!. Moreover, be amazed as you watch carbon dioxide get reduced to carbon in the spectacular magnesium/dry-ice sandwich! See our nautical chemical hi-jinx with the spectacular floating boat on a sea of SF~6~, festive fun with the chemiluminescent Christmas tree, plus much much more!…..

After last year’s sell out Bigger Bang! Show science fest, we felt that we just had to try to up our game – so the Even Bigger Bang! Show comes with a new (and hopefully funnier) script, and newer, bigger, better and louder experiments. Presented by Dr Hal, and, from ITV’s Ministry of Mayhem, my old science sparring partner ‘The Doc’”

Kindly supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry, Brighton Fireworks, SETPOINT Sussex, Sigma Aldrich Chemical Company and of course the University of Brighton. To download a poster click here

The date is Wednesday 12th December; there is an afternoon show at 1.30pm and an evening show at 7.00pm and of course anyone can go to either.
