Peter Barnes is a successful social entrepreneur, researcher and writer. He now focuses on how we can create a new ethical and economic framework to “reinvent the commons” with a strong third sector of independent trusts linked to “cap and rebate” schemes that involve all citizens in stabilizing the climate.
Peter Barnes is senior fellow at Tomales Bay Institute. Peter’s books include Who owns the sky? Our Common Assets And The Future Of Capitalism (2001), Capitalism 3.0: A Guide to Reclaiming the Commons (2006) and Climate Solutions: A Citizen’s Guide (November 2007). Andrew Simms is policy director new economics foundation and head of the Climate Change programme at NEF’s Centre for Global Interdependence.
