Description
Diabetes UK’s Annual Professional Conference (APC) is one of the largest healthcare conferences in the UK attracting over 3000 attendees. Innovative and invaluable to healthcare professionals, the conference delivers information on the latest global developments in diabetes care and research, offering a unique opportunity for delegates to network with professionals from varying fields. The exhibition brings together those from the voluntary, corporate and pharmaceutical sectors who share an interest in diabetes care.
The 2008 Diabetes UK Annual Professional Conference will be retuning to the SECC in Glasgow from 5-7 March. This year’s theme for the APC is ‘Body, Mind and Science’, a concept which is exemplified on many levels; for example, the psychological function/depression in diabetes, the fundamental importance of management issues in primary care, the diabetic foot and the opportunity for reflective discussion with colleagues over a cup of coffee, to name but a few.
