As part of Architectural Humanities Research Association (AHRA)’s ongoing commitment to provide a forum for postgraduate research in architectural theory and history, the University of East London will host this year’s Student Symposium. Architectural Postgraduate students from a wide variety of Universities in Britain and abroad will present their research work in progress at a one-day event held at UEL’s Docklands campus.
Papers explore the themes of Modernist Histories, the Local and the National, Perceptions and the City. There will be the opportunity for discussion and the exchange of views. It will take place on Friday 21 September: the day will start at 9.00 for registration and coffee, with the event starting at 9.30 sharp. It will finish at approximately 5.30.
