At this seminar the Nuffield Council on Bioethics will be launching its latest Report: The Forensic Use of Bioinformation: Ethical Issues.

Members of the Working Group will be discussing:
· Current practices of storing DNA on the National Database, including that of witnesses, victims and children.
· The reliability of DNA and fingerprint evidence and their use in court.
· Using the National DNA Database for other purposes, such as research, familial searching and ethnic inferencing.

Speakers will include:
