Description
With larger screens, cameras, mobile TV, bluetooth and wifi connectivity, the mobile phone has become more than a tool for calling and texting. How can creative practitioners harness these technologies to increase their profile and benefit their business? The Club, in association with VET training, will examine the development of mobile phone technology, exploring it as a creative medium to be exploited for marketing and distribution purposes. The torrent of user-generated content for the web is hastily making its way to the very small screen. With the launch of YouTube for the mobile phone, and the consumer frenzy around the much-anticipated iPhone, the evolution of this technology prompts a necessary reassessment of the role of the mobile phone and its applications in our lives.
