A whole day dedicated to cats! Francesca Riccomini and Inga MacKellar will take us through the science of cat behaviour and how we can apply this knowledge to solving and understanding common issues that can arise between people and cats. The day will provide an in-depth look into subjects such as how to introduce a new cat to a household and understanding house soiling.

The workshop will be fascinating for pet owners, trainers, fellow animal behaviourists, people involved with rescue centres, dog wardens, veterinary personnel, and anyone with an interest in animal behaviour.

The speakers:
Francesca Riccomini is an experienced veterinary behaviourist, a member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), and writes for several feline publications including Your Cat magazine.

Inga Mackellar is a pet behaviour counsellor and member of the APBC. Inga has frequently appeared on local, national and regional radio (BBC Radio 4, BBC Southern Counties) as well as on TV. She is co-author of ‘The APBC Book of Companion Animal Behaviour’, having contributed a chapter on ‘The Importance of Positive Reinforcement’. Inga is the behaviour expert for Cat World magazine for which she writes a monthly feature as well as contributing to the ‘Ask the Experts’ pages.
