On July 17, the Gruber Prize in cosmology was announced; it was given for the 1998 discovery that the Universe’s expansion is accelerating. Dr. Rob Knop (Prospero Frobozz in SL) was a member of one of the two teams to which this award was given, and as such is one of the many recepients of the award. He will talk about and give a Q&A session about the discovery.
