Description
The objective of this course is to provide added awareness of the governing principles behind key aspects of chemical process design and operation. It is aimed at graduate level chemists and other scientists and experienced process operators who are working in the chemical pharmaceutical and related industries either at laboratory, pilot plant or production scale.
The course is made up of a series of introductory lectures, interspersed by hands-on laboratory demonstrations. There is also one coursework assignment based on process design problems to reinforce the lecture material.
