An introduction to Micro-CHP and why this technology is of interest in terms of potential reductions in carbon emissions, plus an overview of the types of Micro-CHP units currently available and under development

• An overview of the Carbon Trust’s work on Micro-CHP, including our field trials of Micro-CHP units in both domestic and commercial environments, our associated field trial of boilers, our laboratory testing work and our on-going analysis across these activities
• Indicative high-level findings from our work to date, including implications for Micro-CHP performance and the factors which are likely to have the biggest impact on maximising carbon saving potential
• Potential implications for the Micro-CHP industry, government policy makers and other stakeholders
• Planned next steps for the Carbon Trust’s work
