Description
The commercial Sector accounts for over 30% of London’s Energy consumption. This rapid growth in commercial sector energy consumption reflects expansion in floor space, as well as increased heating, lighting, information technology (IT) and air-conditioning loads in individual buildings. Sustainability has become a key issue in modern office design and this seminar will present the latest guidance and case studies from professionals in the industry.
Contributors: Nick Cullen, partner, Hoare Lea Consulting Engineers, author of the BCO best practice guide: Environmental Management in Offices; Jo Wright, partner studio leader, Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects with a case study on the National Trust’s Heelis building in Swindon; Rob Smith, senior partner, Davies Langdon, Project and cost consultant; Philip Ross, CEO, the Cordless Group and Chaired by Matt Yeoman, partner, Buckley Gray Yeoman Architects.
