About the London Triangle
The group was set up to facilitate exchange and collaborations between the three String Theory groups in London which reside at Imperial College, King’s College and Queen Mary College. Later the Triangle has been slightly extended in order to incorporate the Mathematical Physics groups at City University and Brunel University.

Our service provides a collection of informations about scheduled seminars and present visitors at each of the participating institutions. At the same time it is intended to serve as starting point for visitors and new group members who wish to familiarise themselves with the great opportunities London offers as a scientific place. Our common activities include the Triangular Seminar which takes place in turn at Imperial College, King’s College and Queen Mary College, with speakers invited by the remaining two. Though first established in a different form, this seminar series has a long tradition and enjoys sustained popularity.

These pages have been constructed by Thomas Quella in 2004. We would like to thank Boris Pioline who maintains the web pages of our sister network String Theory in Greater Paris for having made available to us his scripts which served as an inspiration for the present page and Matthew Hartley for setting up the database and the webserver.
