Description

From measurements of individual crystals at the microscopic scale, through to the macroscopic properties of bulk pharmaceutical products, material characterisation techniques play an increasingly central role in product and process understanding. The latest developments in these techniques will be reviewed and also their applications in exploring the pharmaceutical “Design Space” as part of Quality by Design. This meeting may be regarded as the measurement complement of the JPAG symposium held on 7 December 2006 entitled “Material functionality and fitness for purpose in solid dosage forms.”
