Intrigued by the current Exquisite Bodies exhibition at Wellcome? The galleries on Euston Road are just the tip of the cadaver’s nose when it comes to health and medical museums in London.
Some 25 museums, ranging from the very large (Science Museum) to the spectacularly obscure (Worshipful Society of Apothecaries), have a shared online space to help promote their cause. The London Museums of Health and Medicine web site just relaunched, with a fresh new look and an events calendar encompassing the 25 sites (all of which are Google mapped). Go play.
