    Musings on London science.

    • Tagging video content

On watching this superb video from Stephen Curry, it occurred to me that we ought to adopt a common tag for all blog and forum posts with video content. Then we can easily pull up a page of movies by clicking the tag.

I’d like to suggest two tags:

Videoresearch: for videos like Stephen’s that deal with ‘proper science’.
Videofun: for more lighthearted movies such as the LHC rap.

Any opinions or alternative suggestions welcome.

Sounds good to me. Now I just need to bring on the videos. What about slidecasts (as opposed to your garden-variety slides on their own)? I think they could be considered videos in the same way, and should be tagged similarly.

          Is crystallography ‘proper science’?

          I think it’s sorcery.

Watch what you say – thanks to my crystal ball, I know where you live!

In any case, there is nothing magical about the Fourier Transform, or is there?
