Kapil Sibal, LLM ’77 and former Additional Solicitor General of India, has been a leading spokesman of India’s Congress party for more than a decade. As a Minister in the central government, he has been a strong advocate for the role of Science and Technology in the resurgence of modern India. In his current role as Minister for Human Resource Development, he is shepherding and planning the creation of fourteen new Innovation Universities.
