Organizing Events on XING

XING is business oriented, we know that may have downsides. But on the sunny side of that, business people mean business and know how to do it!
Organizing events is a XING feature that becomes available for premium users only, but the charge is fair if you want to organize one event only.
Here are some of the options for organizing events: they can be public or private, even by telephone ( which is too expensive in my opinion – one should rather do that via skype ).
Of course all details of the event can be entered, but it has a great feature that is not available always: people can book and the number of participants can be set. So if the event is fully booked, no more bookings are accepted by the software. That makes things really easy.
Also there is a feature to invite people for an event and move an appointment, cancel it etc.
This is an ideal feature for anyone who wants to do serious networking.
