Mother-daughter science blogs

Yesterday (Sunday 10 May) was mother’s day in the USA and I think Australia (in the UK this day falls in March). Peggy Kolm at Women in Science blog has collected a round-up of some great mother-scientist-appreciation posts (links in Peggy’s post):
Charles Hirshberg @ Popular Science: My Mother, the Scientist
ScienceWoman: Trailblazing teacher and role-model: an interview with a woman scientist who went before
Anna C. Page: My mother the computer programmer
jill/txt: the value of a mother who loves technology
Janet Stemwedel at Adventures in Ethics and Science: Mother’s Day appreciation part 1, part 2, part 3.
Has anyone spotted any other mother-daughter or mother-son science blog posts in celebration of any country’s mother’s day?
Update: I just noticed another post at Women in Science called mother-daughter scientist club; worth a read.

That’s nice! Remind me and my 14 year old son next year (tho’ we don’t pay much attention to these days in our household).
Here’s something else: a mother and daughter robotics workshop run by Women in Engineering and Computer Science (based at the University of Victoria, Canada). They made robot lego puppies! I’ll email them and see if they’d like to tell us how it went.
