If you’re passing by, Imperial College has a new photo exhibition of 100 female engineers and scientists at the college, launching on Monday and on until 13 March, to mark International Women’s Day.
It was organised by Electrical and Electronic Engineering PhD student Ellin Saunders and Civil and Environmental Engineering PhD student Eirini Spentza. Ellin said: “They are an inspiring group of people… The creative aspect of this project is also a reflection of the fact that science and engineering is about more than numbers and formulas and is far from dry or boring.”
Incidentally, an Imperial postdoc, Hanna Sykulska, has also just won this year’s IET award for Young Woman Engineer of the Year. Congratulations!
