Hello all
On Wendesday 16th September, science minister, Lord Drayson is set to battle it out with Ben Goldacre on the topic of science reporting in the Britain.
The debate began on Twitter, and has now tweeted its way into something that will be airborne via the Times Higher Education website.

This sounds extremely stimulating ;-)

It should be a good debate, both men are well known public speakers, highly opinionated and well facted up! Tickets are free, but as far as I know the entire allocation went in the first day.
Yes, I have mine :-)

I expect that the disappointed will be able to follow on Twitter, where both Lord D and Ben G seem rather prevalent! I would imagine the UKRC will be Twittering it, for example, but probably lots of Ben’s and Lord Drayson’s followers also.

Sorry, bad link in my post (no 3). Here is the correct UKRC link.

And keep an eye on the NN London blog – Emma Quilligan will be in attendance and will give her take on things.

I think it’s being streamed live on the THE website

This sounds a great evening. Thanks for flagging up our intermittent Twitter feed Maxine. Sadly I don’t think we’ll be there, but I am hoping to be at the Nature Debate on science and the recession.
