Wednesday 14th October 2009 – Defra Science Advisory Council (SAC) Open Meeting – to be held at ZSL London Zoo
The SAC provides Defra with independent scientific advice on a range of issues, and is having its annual open meeting at London Zoo this October. The meeting will examine some of the scientific challenges Defra is currently facing, including animal health issues, Defra’s Evidence and Investment Strategy, and the council’s role in providing advice to Defra.
The meeting is free to attend but pre-registration is essential. Lunch will be provided.
