With the merger of DIUS and BERR (newly formed BIS), the The Innovation, Universities, Science and Skills select Committee (IUSS)has been dispanded. However all is not lost as the House of Commons is going to establish a Science and Technology Committee from 1 October 2009. The Science and Technology Select Committtee was originally dispanded on the 25th of July 2007.
