The BBSRC has announced it’s 2009 Public Engagement Awards
Application deadline: 14 January 2009
BBSRC is offering funds of up to £5000 to support BBSRC-sponsored researchers, BBSRC-sponsored institutes and BBSRC local coordinators to undertake public engagement activities between 1 March 2009 and 28 February 2010.
Priority will be given to applications that focus on dialogue with public groups, particularly adults and hard-to-reach groups.
To celebrate Darwin’s 200th anniversary they also wish to encourage applications that address evolution.
Awards will be announced in February 2009.
