    • Hi Gillian,

thanks a lot for posting this! That sounds really interesting and rather well in tune with my interests. It really ticks all the boxes actually :)

Unfortunately i won’t be able to free myself in order to go. Is anyone going and willing to report on this? Is any publication going to emerge from the symposium?

On a related note, anyone has any experience of working with one of the Biocentres and/or Nuffield Council on Bioethics?

Btw, i am about to launch my own blog dealing with the interaction between art and science, i will post the url around. Stay tuned!

    • Hi David!

If you want to know more about the symposium, I suggest you contact Rachel Bell, who is a Science Policy in the UK group member and is involved with the organisation. There might well be a report from the event you could use. Indeed -I think the might be part of a series and you may be able to go to another one along the same theme.

If you have not already discovered them, you may also be interested in the London Knowledge Lab’s Maths-Art seminars

    • Thanks for posting this Gillian. Yes David, you will be able to access a symposium report after the event. It will be published online in a few weeks on the BioCentre website. Follow the link to publications then symposium reports.

    • Hi Gillian and Rachel,

thanks a lot for the different pieces of info.

Gillian, no i was aware of this, but was already thinking through something on the use of maths in art. (I like it when the relevant info seem to just come together at the right moment :) )

Rachel, I am looking forward to read the report!

Btw, my blog about art and science, Art in a Test Tube, is now online:
