Confirmed registrants given priority entry

Towards the end of last week all registrants to the event were asked to confirm that they still intend on visting the event and asked which stream of talks they are likely to attend.
Those who resonded and confirmed will be given priority entrance into the talks.
Talking about priority entrance to the talk, I remember reading that there would be some sort of registration for the talks because of limited seating for some of the sessions. Is this information still current? If so, how do I register for sessions?

Hi Andreas,
hopefully you have re-registered already for the talks as this is now closed. We’ve had fantastic response and due to the size of the venue we’ve had to limit the number of people who can go into the talks and building.

Hello, unfortunately I never got any e-mail asking for attendance confirmation. Yesterday I received this e-mail saying that I can’t attend since I never confirmed. I hope this is somehow a mistake since I already bought plane tickets and booked for acommodation.
