Shenzhou VII has blasted off from Jiuquan spaceport in northwest China.
This is the third manned launch from China. With three ‘taikonauts’ onboard, the mission doubles the number of indigenously launched space travellers from that country.
The mission highlight of the 70-hour flight will be China’s first spacewalk.
