All of the attendee slots for Science Online London 2009 are now filled and registrants are being placed on a waiting list. If you didn’t register in time or can’t travel to London on the day, you can still attend! The conference will be streamed live by Nature Publishing Group into the virtual world Second Life and attendees worldwide are welcome to attend.
We will be streaming all the talks from the main hall into Second Life. From NPG’s Elucian Islands in Second Life, you can watch, ask questions of the speakers and chat with other attendees from your own home. All you need is a computer and Internet connection. The registration fee is 10 GBP.
To register, email Jo Scott (j.scott@nature.com) with your name, email address and Second Life avatar name, if you have one. Please also indicate if you’d like to attend a Second Life orientation session that Jo will run.
More information will be posted to the conference website soon.

Thanks, Corie! You can now register on the website as well. We’re accepting registration and payment online by PayPal, but if you’d prefer not to do that, we’ll also take personal cheques – email me at j.scott@nature.com and we’ll sort something out.
