SOLAIRE is a Research Training Network financed by the European Commission. It consists of 12 European Universities and Research Institutes and a private R&TD company.

The aim of the SOLAIRE network is to carry out research through collaboration of its partners and to provide intensive training of researchers at the initial stages of their careers. Contracts for a total of more than 46 years at the postgraduate and postdoctoral level will be offered by the network.

The research of the network targets a number of key areas in solar and interplanetary physics. Our approach is multidisciplinary combining supercomputing, ground-based and satellite observation and theoretical analysis.
