Join the third conference of young Chilean Scientists at the Max Planck Institute and in Second Life
On 12th February 2009 there will be a meeting of Chilean Scientists in Europe; an annual gathering, held at the Max-Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine in Gottingen (Germany). The conference is supported by Bionexa to encourage the integration of Chilean and European science communities to strengthen collaboration in global science research.
For the first time, the conference will be broadcast live into Second Life to allow attendees from across the world to participate free of charge. We shall be broadcasting two talks from the conference and are delighted to announce that the speakers will be Nobel Prize winners Erwin Neher and Ramon Latorre
All are very welcome to attend: please register your interest by sending your email address and name to Suhky Dhaliwal(s.dhaliwal@nature.com) or Filippo Pacciarini. Please do not be deterred by the registration procedure.
If you would like to attend, but are new to Second Life, coming to an event is easy – see our step-by-step guide to getting started. If you would like assistance or have any questions at all about the event, please feel free to contact Suhkvinder Dhaliwal (s.dhaliwal@nature.com) or Lou Woodley (l.woodley@macmillan.co.uk) by email or in Second Life as suhky Rezillo and SecondLou Skytower.
